Maxim Khalkevich, Cloud & Security Team Leader in Saint Petersburg, and Andrey Zakharov, Products and Innovations Director, have successfully finished a training course on various application fields of Amazon Web Services (AWS), the largest cloud platform in the world.
The AWS Certified Solutions Architect exam is intended for specialists designing IT solutions for the end users. The certificate confirms knowledge and skills necessary for architecture development and deployment of applications on the AWS platform.
The AWS Solutions Architect certificate asserts specialists’ expertise in performing the following works:
- Design, deployment and use of feasible and safe AWS-based applications, as well as scalable fault-tolerant systems with high availability;
- Setup of AWS services;
- Development of a solution specification based on the customer’s requirements using principles of architectural design;
- Solutions’ adjustment in accordance with updated recommendations throughout the lifecycle of the project;
- Relocation of existing local applications to AWS and their adaptation;
- Data transfer into/out of AWS services;
- Appraisal of AWS services’ cost and development of cost management mechanisms.
Today AWS is the largest public cloud in the world, forming TOP3 together with Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure in the segment of so called “big”, or “global” clouds. There are more than 2,000 multinational corporations among the AWS users across the world.
“AWS Solutions Architect training and certification is another step in our plan for developing staff competencies. Since 2018 we offer our customers Direct Cloud Connect, a direct connectivity service between our data centers in Moscow and Saint Petersburg and “big clouds”. Having certified specialists on board expands our potential for providing hybrid solutions with maximum benefits for the Linxdatacenter customers,” comments Andrey Zakharov, Products and Innovations Director Linxdatacenter.
